Most incorporate neural networks, with classification algorithms matching detected audio signatures to libraries of known threats.

Unseen by human eyes both are nonetheless being monitored - by AI-enhanced ‘artificial ears’. Tiny listening stations trigger appropriate responses; be it an air raid alert helping civilians seek shelter or the dispatch of an anti-poaching enforcement team.

There are several types of quantum computer competing for supremacy. They're all complex, experimental and expensive. Several of the architectures involve cooling components down to extreme temperatures, often approaching absolute zero (-273°C).

Quantum Processing Units or QPUs hold much computational promise, but will they supercede the GPU any time soon?
